Well friends with today’s post, we reach the end of our look back at our 2022 weddings and we couldn’t have had a sweeter couple to end the year with than Allison and Ben! Allison and Ben were married on what may have been the rainiest and foggiest New Year’s Eve day ever but they didn’t let that dampen their spirits not even one little bit! Our day started with them at the Cornelia Community House located in Cornelia, Georgia where we took full advantage of the cover the porches provided on this very rainy day. Staying nice and dry under the protection of the porches we had the most precious first look moments with the bride and her father and also with the bride and groom! We even squeezed in some bridal party fun and some sweet family moments under those porches all while the rain poured down around us. While the rain didn’t give us many breaks or even lighten up much in the time leading up to the ceremony it did give us a few very brief moments where it slowed just long enough for us to grab our trusty clear umbrellas and head out! Thankfully the rain did eventually begin to slow as we headed over to White Creek Baptist Church for the ceremony and as Allison and Ben said I do in a church full of family and friends the rain came to a stop, giving us a few rain free moments to soak in before heading into the reception at the Cornelia Community House. Inside the reception, the newlyweds joined their guests for breakfast for dinner and a cereal bar… the best comfort food for this rainy New Year’s Eve day! Then it was time for cake, toasts and dancing away the night before sending the new Mr. and Mrs. off in the most perfect New Year’s way… sparklers!
This rainy day plus Allison and Ben’s trust in us, gave us some of the dreamiest rainy day moments, that we honestly couldn’t love more! Congratulations Allison and Ben and thank you for trusting us with your memories on this very special day! 💛
