December of 2022 surprised us by being one of our busiest months of the year! Normally the beginning of December marks the slowing down of our wedding season but not this time! We celebrated our Capture Thirteen Couples all the way into the new year this past year, and if we’re being totally honest, it made for a whirlwind of a month, but goodness friends, what a beautifully sweet whirlwind it was!

Our first December wedding was Chris and Vernie’s wedding day at Willow Creek Farm in Cleveland, Georgia and we couldn’t have had a sweeter couple to kick this month off with! The day started off with heavy rain and grey skies but the sun came out just in time for first look moments! From there the sun stayed with us as we made our way to the creek where Chris and Vernie said I do surrounded by family and friends under the most beautiful wooden arbor filled with white and blue flowers. One of our favorite parts of the day came during their ceremony time when they planted a tree together giving it dirt to grow from, from each of their home states. After sweet I do moments everyone headed back to the barn for a fun reception time! At the reception Vernie and Chris shared their love for Mexican food and board games with guests and of course, cake, toasts, dancing and some photo booth fun to complete the night! Congratulations Vernie and Chris!
