There’s an old saying for March weather that says if March comes in like a lamb it will go out like a lion and vice versa in like a lion and out like a lamb. We can’t remember if March came in like a lamb or not this year but one thing is for sure it definitely went out like a lion!

The last weekend of March, we headed to Pleasant Union Farm located in Canton, Georgia for Valerie and Daniel’s wedding. The day greeted us with beautiful sunny skies and and wind advisories of 25+mph wind gusts, and y’all the wind was fierce and chilly! Our day started with pretty details and fun getting ready moments in the bridal suite with the girls followed by a sweet first look moment with Valerie and her dad. From there it was time to move into bridal portraits, we started with bridal portraits in front of the barn’s large glass sliding doors, and the way the wind caught Valerie’s veil in the wind literally took our breath away in more ways than one! 😍 From there we bravely headed outside, using the side of the barn as a shelter from the winds, for first look moments and bridal party fun. Then it was ceremony time! With the sun beaming down the barn doors slid open and Valerie made her way down the aisle to Daniel, where they said I do surrounded by friends and family. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed dinner inside the barn, and as the sun began to set over the farm and we snuck out of dinner with the bride and groom to capture some of the sweetest sunset moments. Then it was back inside for cake and toasts, followed by a night of dancing under the twinkle lights and stars before sending the newlyweds on their way under a sea of sparklers!
