Going into our last wedding weekend of 2021 we had all eyes on the weather. The weather forecast for Kali and Tucker’s wedding weekend in Blairsville, Georgia was all things gloomy but we hoped and prayed that a little sunshine would come Kali and Tucker’s way. While the weather didn’t cut us any breaks that weekend, it did remind us once again that rainy days bring a romance all their own. Our day started at Enotah Valley with cloudy skies, that quickly turned into dark skies and tornado warnings. Rain poured down, thunder boomed, lightning flashed and the power even briefly flickered off as we worked to capture getting ready moments and wedding day details. As the lights came back on, the thunder and lightning subsided outside and nervous laughter filled the bridal suite once again. Catching a slight break in the rain we made our way down to the lodge for first look moments, under the covered patio before joining the bridal party inside the lodge. Coming in from the rain, the lodge gave us all the warm and cozy feels, with the candles filling the fireplace and the ambiance of twinkle lights… perfect for this stormy winter day! The fireplace also made for the perfect backdrop for Kali and Tucker as they said their vows surrounded by friends and family. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner, cake, and dancing with the rain stopping just in time for a sparkler send-off!
