Summer.

It will be mid-summer before we have golden wedding nights again.

Full transparency and honesty… due to the Coronavirus the earliest known date for any kind of session or wedding on our calendar is July. Weddings have all been pushed back and sessions are on hold during our current shelter in place.

Friends, that’s a hard thing for us to soak in and wrap our minds around. So while we won’t have any new sessions or weddings to share with you for a while, we thought it would be a good time to look back at some of our favorite spring engagement sessions and weddings from last year with you! A series of throwbacks if you will!

First up we thought we would share Dusty and Nicole’s spring engagement session.

This time last year, we met up with Dusty and Nicole for their spring engagement session at one of our favorite parks located in Hoschton, Georgia. Nicole’s floral sundress popped against Dusty’s blue sports coat and together they popped against the newly green trees and water feature. {Tip: Shades of blue will always pop against all the green we get here in the spring and summer in North Georgia. 😉 }

This engagement session is definitely one we won’t soon forget and not just because of its beauty! After we had some time by the water, we headed to a pretty wooded path where we weren’t the only ones there… we met a slithery friend or should we say foe. It was a baby, but we all know where a baby snake is a mama can’t be too far behind! 🐍😬🏃‍♀️ Outdoor critters come with the territory of working out in nature but that doesn’t mean we’ve grown accustomed to their appearances. 😂 We’re still not quite sure how but we all managed to keep our composure but with a little help from Dusty, our snake friend slithered on its away. While we always try to be extra mindful and aware of our surroundings this spotting made us extra, extra, extra mindful that night! There wasn’t a twig of grass or tree branch movement that didn’t catch our eye that night! All in agreement we didn’t linger on that path too long but the moments we caught there were gorgeous!

We hope you enjoy looking back on this sweet North Georgia engagement session with us friends. We’re missing evenings like this so much right now but we know we’ll be back out there soon! Until then stay safe and stay home!
