Nathan and Shelby are married!

The day of Nathan and Shelby’s wedding the forecast predicted a 100% chance of not just rain but severe storms. 😬 We woke up to sunshine the day of the wedding but not sure what the day would hold we grabbed our clear umbrellas and headed to Woodstock, Georgia! The storms rolled in with us as we arrived in Woodstock. We had stopped for a quick lunch prior to the wedding and as we ran into the restaurant the rain began to pour and the thunder and lighting began to set in. As we sat in the restaurant we watched the rain come in sideways, then felt the thunder rumble the building and watched the lightning flash. We finished lunch and friends… by the time we arrived at Nathan and Shelby’s wedding site the rain had stopped!🙌  The sunshine returned just in time!

Nathan and Shelby were married at Tuscany Italian Resturant located in Woodstock, Georgia. Surrounded by an intimate gathering of family and friends, they said I do under a beautiful gazebo overlooking their town.  Following the ceremony, guests headed inside for a delicious Italian meal and cannolis for dessert! And friends… we made it through their entire day without a drop of rain! The rain didn’t start again until their guests began to depart, so just for kicks, we grabbed the umbrellas and ran back out and we’re so glad we did! We literally got the best of both worlds that day… beautiful sunshine filled moments and romantic rainy day moments!

Getting to know and work with these two has been a joy and it was such an honor to capture their special day!
