Wedding Day Tips

With every Capture Thirteen wedding investment, we meet with our brides one final time prior to the wedding day, during this meeting we offer our brides tips and suggestions to help make the wedding day timeline run smoothly. One suggestion we always make and highly recommend to our brides is on the day of the wedding having all of their detail items together in a box ready for pictures. This way everything is together and there’s no stress trying to remember everything you want to be included. One box of the bride and one box for the groom… bc he has details too!

Another tip is to have your detail boxes ready prior to the wedding day, this way on the day you can just pick them up and go. For our brides, we suggest including your something old, something, new, something borrowed and something blue! Or any sentimental or heirloom pieces. The perfume you are wearing on your special day, any jewelry your wearing or carrying, handkerchiefs, your veil and wedding rings, shoes, and bouquet. Also, include all of your paper suites… wedding day invitations, wedding programs, even your dinner menu! Other things to consider are gathering extra pieces from your wedding day details so it could be items such as flower petals from the flowers, the ring boxes or pillows,  Of course, we can’t forget your groom! A few suggested detail pieces for your guy… cuff links, his shoes, cologne, his tie, ring, a watch, and boutonniere.

Regardless of what items you choose to include in your detail pieces, choose the pieces that you will treasure, that have significance to you! There is no right or wrong pieces to include here, every wedding day is different and every bride different and each detail shot is special in its own way to each one!
