Flowery Branch, Georgia | Maternity Session

We met Emily and Sean in Flowery Branch, Georgia for a Monday morning maternity session at the end of October and honestly, we can’t think of a better way to start a Monday than with a sweet session.  With just a hint of fall starting to appear in the trees, we headed to one of our favorite spots at the park. We had so much fun with Emily and Sean and we are so honored they allowed us to capture such a sweet season in life for them, as they prepare to welcome a precious baby girl in December.

Now a true story friends… as we made our way from the bridge over to one of our favorite spots under the trees, Emily spotted a HUGE spider on Brandy’s arm. Now we know what your thinking… your probably saying to yourself, it wasn’t that big, they are just being dramatic. Um… nope! No dramatics here… we promise! Spiders don’t really bother me (Alison) until they reach a larger size and well this one qualified! Honestly when Emily said to Sean… “Sean, look at her arm” a spider was the last thing we thought about… I of course immediately look to the ground for a snake because that’s where the arm is located right?! (Sorry Brandy!) Then with a slow turn or rather what seemed like a slow turn of the arm a mutant spider was revealed and was just hanging out on Brandy’s arm like it was no big deal. We kid you not… that thing was a beast! Luckily Sean saved the day and got that thing off! Then we proceeded to lose all composure and may have had to take a few minutes to pull it back together. Thank goodness for new friends who saved the day! Now we only wish we had kept it together long enough to capture a shot of that eight-legged foe to show you just how big he really was!

Well, friends, we hope you enjoyed our spider story and that it brought you a good laugh, and we hope you enjoy looking through this sweet session’s blog. We’ll let you guys guess which shot we were setting up when the spider appeared! 😉
